Midea-KNX gateway (VRF and Commercial range)
Zennio is expanding its climate control portfolio with the KLIC-MDI, a new KNX gateway designed to bridge Midea VRF and Commercial range air conditioning units with building automation systems. The gateway enables bidirectional communication through the X1/X2 connector, allowing both control and monitoring from a centralized KNX installation.
For system integrators, the KLIC-MDI offers practical flexibility beyond simple protocol conversion. It includes 2 analog-digital inputs that can be configured for temperature probes, motion sensors, or dry contact binary inputs such as switches and push buttons. 10 logical functions are also onboard for local automation scenarios. The device is KNX Secure compatible, addressing the growing demand for encrypted communication in commercial buildings.
Accessories include an external temperature probe and motion sensor for enhanced environmental sensing.
