Tolkien&#8217;s Former Home with KNX"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Northmoor Road Oxford Residence \u00d7 eelectron<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A protected historic residence on Northmoor Road in Oxford &#8211; the former home of J.R.R. Tolkien &#8211; has been intelligently retrofitted by AVINU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The core challenge was integrating advanced automation while preserving the building&#8217;s original character. A fully integrated KNX system manages lighting, climate, shading, audio, and security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>OL-U Metal Edition<\/strong> user interfaces from eelectron were selected for their metal finish, which harmonizes with the building&#8217;s materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through the <strong>MyCustom<\/strong> process, engraved symbols inspired by Tolkien&#8217;s universe were created.
