Gira – Introducing Tastsensor 4.55 Plus

Gira has unveiled the Tastsensor 4.55 Plus, a KNX touch sensor with a built-in LCD display. The company is one of Germany’s longest-standing KNX manufacturers, with over a century of design heritage behind it.

The Tastsensor 4.55 Plus comes in 1- to 4-gang versions. Its central display shows the live status of functions and supports up to 120 custom icons, with adjustable text colors. A temperature and humidity sensor is built in, so the device can communicate directly with HVAC systems without needing external sensors. It also supports KNX Secure encryption and belongs to the Gira System 55 series, making it compatible with existing design lines.

The sensor is aimed at residential and commercial projects where modern aesthetics, HVAC integration, and data security matter.
