In public spaces, advanced daylight harvesting via astronomical clocks and lux sensors dynamically adjusts lighting. In guest rooms, decentralized Eco-Modes link to presence networks, slashing standby thermal and lighting demands when unoccupied.
A master KNX visualization platform grants facility management real-time analytics and global oversight. Extended KNX usage in this project can achieve up to 60% energy savings.
Compared to the Sant Joan de Déu hospital project, which achieved 35% daytime and 50% nighttime savings, the savings potential varies by building type and control strategy .
